Software Engineer

Franklin Templeton Companies LLC seeks a Software Engineer in Stamford, CT to perform application design/development and production support activities to support business needs. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related, or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience developing and maintaining front-end applications using React for both web and native platforms; implementing state management using Redux to maintain application state and facilitate data flow; converting UI/UX design wireframes based on Figma into responsive, high-performance web pages utilizing HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and Typescript; implementing data visualization utilizing charting libraries including Highcharts, D3 and AG Grid; integrating APIs and microservices based on Python using Axios and GraphQL to retrieve and display data dynamically; optimizing system performance utilizing virtualization, code splitting, caching technologies, and lazy loading; implementing accessibility and keyboard events consistently through applications with DOM manipulation; and performing unit testing using testing libraries including Jest. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Salary range: $125,000.00 – $191,200.00/year.
