Desktop Support Technician OnSite Position Overview A Desktop Support Technician is needed to support a largescale technology refresh project in a clientfacing environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with device deployments, and maintaining accurate asset records. The position is fully onsite and requires direct interaction with end users in a walkup support setting. Key Responsibilities * Provide handson support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network configurations. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through inperson, phonebased, or remote support. * Install, remove, and configure devices and applications as part of deployment and refresh activities. * Deliver professional, customerfocused service and confidently address user concerns. * Collaborate with end users, technical teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests. * Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate issues when appropriate. * Maintain accurate asset records within the organization's tracking system. * Support ongoing project tasks and adapt to new assignments as needed. Qualifications * Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. * Approximately 2 years of experience in IT support, deployment, or a related technical role preferred. * Technical certifications are a plus. * Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users. * Solid timemanagement skills and the ability to stay focused in a fastpaced environment. * Familiarity with device installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and refresh processes. * Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in team settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
