Markon is seeking an Acquisition Professional - Level 4 to provide senior-level acquisition expertise supporting the Fort Meade Customer. This position will advise Government leadership on acquisition strategy and execution, lead development of pre-solicitation and solicitation documentation, and support major system acquisitions through multiple milestone decisions. This role requires deep knowledge of DoD acquisition policy, source selection processes, and lifecycle management.

Advise Government stakeholders on acquisition, solicitation, and award strategies in support of mission programs.
• Develop and refine acquisition strategies, including drafting documentation, managing artifacts, tracking status, and organizing acquisition-related meetings.
• Lead requirements phase activities, including gathering, integrating, and documenting contract requirements from multiple sources.
• Support solicitation development and administration, including acquisition planning, drafting, and execution strategy.
• Administer Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including tracking vendor questions, documenting correspondence, and supporting industry day activities.
• Support source selection activities, including organizing proposal evaluations, administering Government scoring processes, and managing proposal review documentation.
• Guide Major System Acquisition programs through the acquisition lifecycle, including preparation for Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) reviews (Milestone A, B, IOC, and/or FOC).
• Ensure acquisition activities comply DoD acquisition policies.

• Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph with this Customer
• 15 years of demonstrated experience in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management,
  OR DAWIA Level II certification in any focus area plus 18 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree,
  OR 21 years of directly related experience in lieu of certification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience drafting pre-solicitation documents in compliance
• Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting Major System Acquisition programs, including preparation for multiple Milestone Decisions.
• Experience supporting DoD source selection processes is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex acquisition documentation and processes across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to support senior Government decision-making.
