Porter - Part-time Montclair, NJ (Valley & Bloom)

Valley & Bloom Apts. (LCOR) is seeking a Part-time Porter to join our team (25 hours a week)! Job Responsibilities for this position include: Resident package delivery. Consistently maintain a clean and attractive environment around the Lobby, Corridors, Office, Amenities, Roof Terrace and all common areas. Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor. Assist with garbage and recyclable items removal daily/assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc. Must be able to lift 25-75 lbs. on a regular basis. Physical Demands - Equal amount of walking, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and bending. Assist with moving appliances, water heaters, planters, garbage cans, parking blocks, abandoned furniture and supplies as needed. Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations. May be required to work weekends. Must accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including but not limited to pest control, property inspections, etc. Required Skills for this position include: Candidate must be reliable, personable and customer oriented. English proficiency required. Proven ability to deliver 5-star customer service. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, working knowledge of Building Link a plus. Availability to cover other shifts during the week from time to time. Ability to work regularly scheduled overnight shifts, including weekends as needed..
