As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Work closely with store personnel and/or management to address security-related concerns and provide support during emergency situations.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
