Location: Bremerton, Washington (In-person) Type: Non-Exempt (Temporary) Compensation: $20.00 per hour Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs. Position is temporary and not expected to exceed 8 weeks. Start and end date will be approximately between May - September 2026.) As a Summer Academy Intern, you'll... The Summer Academy Intern will work within the Workforce Development team to support Community Employment Services during Summary Academy. This position will focus on creating and facilitating interactive workshops that help students build job readiness skills, explore career pathways, and prepare for workplace success. The intern will also provide guidance and support as students participate in their own paid internships, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. This role offers experience in curriculum development, teaching in a workshop setting, and applying inclusive employment strategies. Interns will gain professional development, mentorship, and curriculum development opportunities while contributing to an engaging and supportive learning environment. This is a temporary position and is not expected to exceed 8 weeks.
