Baker College is excited to announce an opportunity for a Program Director to lead our Nursing Program at the state-of-the-art Royal Oak campus!


As the Program Director of Nursing, you will serve as the driving force behind the academic excellence, strategic vision, and daily operations of the Nursing program within the Health Division. This pivotal leadership role ensures the program remains relevant and aligned with Baker College's mission, objectives, and core values while fostering a student-centered academic environment. You will cultivate a culture of compliance, collaboration, and integrity among faculty and students, serve as a leader in nursing education matters, and partner closely with the academic dean and faculty to oversee program quality, curriculum assessment, instructional effectiveness, and the program's ongoing success and impact.


Qualified candidates will hold a Master of Science degree in Nursing, with a Doctorate of Science in Nursing preferred. Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered Michigan Registered Nurse license and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; prior teaching experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and other internet-based applications, and will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
