As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence and attention to detail help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. You will interact with staff and visitors, support access control measures, and deliver on our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or drivers with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents encountered during the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the location.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
