ROLE DESCRITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the World Wide Compensation and FP&A Manager for DS SOLIDWORKS, the Commission Analyst is responsible for sales compensation strategy and execution of a $1B brand of Dassault Systemes. This person will interact with the sales leadership team to create and execute sales compensation plans and calculations to drive sales results.

Manage Sales Compensation Plan (SCP) distribution process: from Creation to Employees' acknowledgement -

  • Create and/or validate the compensation plans of the CRE Sales employees
  • Compute and validate individual sales results
  • Compute SPIF (Sales Performance Incentive Fund) and commissions payments
  • Communicate to each country's payroll team the monthly commissions to be paid within their deadlines
  • Compute and validate final payouts to sales employees and send payroll requests
  • Provide commission accruals for some GEOs
  • Analyze sales performance Vs Commission targets to identify outliers and gaps
  • Contribute to the definition of Y+1 SCP Guidance
  • Request tool and process evolutions, participate in Drop testing
  • Work with Sales management to resolve discrepancies, answer Sales management's questions about the SCP rules and calculations, and advice Sales managers on SCP definition for specific employees

Deliverables

  • Participate in the creation or update of the SCP Guidance
  • SCP templates delivered in SCP application
  • Compensation Plan tools and associated user training manuals
  • Calculate monthly commissions and provide them within the Payroll deadlines
  • Results statements by employee
  • Associated payout instructions by employee

KPIs

  • Ensure publication of SCP Guidance before end of year (Y-1)
  • SCP Distribution process KPI: ensure on-time distribution and acknowledgement according to defined schedule
  • SCP payout KPI: ensure that all employees are paid according to plan and schedule
  • Efficiency KPI: timeline to create, validate and distribute plans
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance and or accounting
  • 3-5 years relevant professional experience
  • Understanding how to manage information, balancing confidentiality with business needs
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high degree of timely problem resolution required
  • Advanced excel skills including formulas, vlookup, pivot tables, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with all levels in the organization required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical as well as the ability to handle shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working in a high-paced, deadline driven environment
