Job Overview:

We Are hiring! Ingersoll Rand seeks a talented Shipping & Receiving Supervisor for its Ingersoll Rand Pump (IRP), MP Pump and Oberdorfer Pump (MPOB) Business Unit. This role will be responsible for setting and communicating daily, weekly, and monthly goals to team members, organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules in a manufacturing facility. This leader will require the ability to empower, coach, and mentor team members for both growth and development. The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor works with a team to ensure health and safety codes are followed. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and a problem solver and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and manage shipping data to maintain required shipping pace and meet customer and business goals.

  • Oversee daily shipping operations, including painting/tagging, packing, export orders, and shipment accuracy.

  • Manage receiving and put-away processes, ensuring completion within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, shortage tracking, and resolution of parts or equipment issues.

  • Direct material handlers to support manufacturing cells and meet cross-training requirements, maintaining training documentation.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal company locations and respond to internal/external customer inquiries.

  • Monitor employee performance by providing guidance, assigning development projects, and promoting collaboration and contingency planning.

  • Ensure workplace safety and organization by enforcing PPE use, reporting hazards, maintaining supplies, and following 5S standards
    .

Requirements:


  • 5+ years' experience in Shipping & Receiving

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift

  • Demonstrated experience using SAP for shipping and Warehouse Management

  • Experience using Excel to manipulate order and delivery data



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • Fully onsite based



Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $80,000-$100,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
