Summary:

Scotty's Contracting and Stone is seeking a motivated Shop Intern to join our Shop Division. This hands-on, administrative support role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in heavy equipment operations and shop administration, including exposure to equipment tracking, work orders, and documentation processes. The Shop Intern will work alongside the Shop Manager and shop team to assist with administrative and organizational tasks. Work is performed under direct supervision, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as skills and knowledge develop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and prepare invoices for processing.
• Retrieve and distribute shop-related mail.
• Assist with entering work order information in E360 as directed.
• Support Excel-based spreadsheets and project tracking as assigned.
• Provide general administrative support to the shop office as directed

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft programs
