As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner, offering assistance and information as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Remain alert to surroundings at all times, being attentive to changes or developments that may require a response or escalation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
