Responsibilities The referral coordinator is responsible for referral operations at assigned clinics, establishing and standardizing systems and procedures for the distribution and use of health information throughout the organization, coordinating and referral functions with all other departments. Referral coordinators are responsible for ensuring that all patient and accounts are financially secure by means of verification of insurance information, authorization of procedures, validating of patient demographics Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Diploma. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $22.00 to $25.54. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
