Widener University is seeking a non-tenure-track Instructor of Financial Planning in the School of Business Administration. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Business Administration, this is a 10-month, full-time non-tenure track position which involves instructing undergraduate and/or graduate students in financial planning, accounting, and business fundamentals. The position does not require research; however, it does involve serving on departmental and university committees and other service to the profession and Widener students. The Instructor of Financial Planning (non-tenure-track) in the School of Business Administration will teach undergraduate and graduate courses across all areas of financial planning, delivered in a variety of modalities including in-person, online, hybrid, and distance education. The educator will employ innovative teaching practices, demonstrate a deep commitment to student success, and adapt to varied learning needs. The faculty member's expertise and pedagogical excellence will play a vital role in advancing the department's mission and vision, fostering academic growth, and preparing students for professional achievement in the field of financial planning.
