Fleet Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for all critical aspects of the fleet operation. Three main components are fuel, maintenance and GPS. Duties include ensuring these systems are working at optimal capacity, auditing for fraud, reporting, cost analysis and identifying savings opportunities. This job will also include managing designating fleet employees that assist with operational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Vehicle fuel program

Review program and reports with fuel analyst on a weekly basis

Identify other vendors and programs that may improve cost and operation

Review monthly reports and make recommendations to improve data/information provided

Implement additional fuel programs/processes for efficiency and savings

Assist analyst as needed

Vehicle maintenance program

Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):

4-5 years Fleet experience

4-5 years vehicle repair/maintenance experience

Knowledge of vehicle manufacturers, makes and models

Understanding DMV and DOT compliance regulations

Required: Valid driver's license

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or CAFM designation

Job Responsibility Level:

3-5 direct reports

Travel Requirements:

Travel required 5% of the time to other office locations, field, shop, or project site.

Hours:

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Work outside of regular hours may occasionally be necessary to meet business needs.

Competitive Wages:

$81,000 to $106,500 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
