We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Silver Spring, MD office four days per week.



Responsibilities

This senior level Project Manager will lead the end-to-end planning and implementation for projects in accordance with the EagleBank Project Management policy and established procedures. This role serves as a Senior Project Manager for Bank projects as assigned and independently manages key corporate initiatives that impact large segments of the organization or have a significant level of impact on customers and/or systems. The Project Manager III is responsible for managing programs, projects, process improvement initiatives, and supporting business owners to ensure deliverables are aligned to approved and applicable scope, timeline, and budget. This includes coordinating with cross-functional departments and external partners to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with respect to risk, due diligence, labor, resources, and industry best practices. In addition to project planning and execution, this role plays a critical part in driving strategic alignment by ensuring that all projects are directly tied to EagleBank's corporate strategic pillars. The Project Manager III proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement, implements best practices, and promotes operational efficiency across the project lifecycle. This position may lead or coach other Project Managers on larger initiatives under their responsibility and spends a significant amount of time influencing and collaborating with stakeholders outside of the EPMO department to ensure strategic outcomes and business objectives are achieved.



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) information management, Project Management, Business Management, Finance, or other related field
  • 9 years of experience directly managing projects of strategic or complex scale e.g. ERP Implementations, loan origination systems, FIS Applications, etc.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Advanced skill level of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding Project Management methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile, lean, etc.
  • Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to define business and technical requirements
  • Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings between vendors, management, technical resources and business users in the development of a new process/functionality
  • Strong understanding of data, how it is stored, and how it relates to the different functional areas within the organization
  • Knowledge of core and peripheral systems of a financial institution or financial business-related company

Preferences:

  • 5 years supervisory experience
  • 6 years working in the financial industry, preferably banking
  • Experience working on Information Technology, process improvement, and AI projects
  • Experience with Smartsheet, JIRA and other PM related tools
  • Experience implementing AI and Machine Learning projects
