The Position
Who We Are The Learning & Skill Development (LSD) organization is key to instilling a digital culture and continuous learning mindset across the Commercial and Medical Group (CMG), ensuring all CMG customers-employees, managers, healthcare providers, and patients-have the information and skills they need. LSD is driving this transformation by pioneering advances in skills management, digital learning, experiential learning, and workflow learning. The team is composed of Learning Business Partners and Learning Design Architects (who cover perennial focus areas like medical and leadership, alongside transformation areas like omnichannel and health equity), supported by Instructional Designers, Multimedia Partners, Facilitators, Learning Technologists, and an Analytics function that maps CMG's skill domains and employee skill gain to business impact metrics. The Opportunity The Project Manager contributes with knowledge and skills typically gained through extended education and/or significant working experience. Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline with limited guidance. Is a strategic partner to teams and plays a critical role in the proactive planning, execution and optimization of processes, resources, timelines, milestones and deliverables; achieving it through excellence in project management, new Agile ways of working and by helping teams seamlessly interface with Genentech's operational and technical infractures. This role includes management of the critical tasks associated with each phase of the project as well as regular reporting or risks, mitigations, and open items. You work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. You can identify the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess each using standard procedures and make sound decisions. Key Responsibilities:
Leverage local and CMG affiliations and identify, celebrate and promote a culture that fosters 1) inclusive team experiences, 2) patient and customer centered culture, 3) enterprise thinking, and 4) teamwork and collaboration across local department, network and CMG

Relocation benefits are NOT offered on this job posting This role is based out of our South San Francisco Genentech Campus. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, California is $111,800/yr to $207,600/yr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
