Loan Assistant

As a Loan Assistant, you will provide assistance to designated Lending Officers related to all aspects of the loan process. You will oversee the entire loan process and serve as a liaison between our client, Lending Officer, and the Credit Administration team.

This is a full-time position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What you'll need to be our Loan Assistant:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient use of a personal computer.
• Three-plus years of banking experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What you'll do as a Loan Assistant:

• Ensure all necessary documentation is obtained in a timely manner and loans are accurate and compliant.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties such as pulling credit reports, completing requests for insurance, title work, and building new customer profiles on the system.
• Review and sort loan documents for closings such as preparing disbursement, completing loan checklists, and imagining loan packets.
• Provide designated Lending Officers with regular updates on the status of new loans and customer needs.
