Langley Federal Credit Union is expanding it's presence Raleigh, and opening more branch locations! We are looking for an experienced Bank Manager to help us launch our second branch and introduce us to the Cary, N.C. communities. This Branch Manager will oversee the operations of our new high production branch, through the implementation of an appropriate strategy to ensure continued growth. Our Branch Manager will effectively manage the demands of our members including defining effectiveness and success for teammates, targeting resources to ensure success and reviewing if actions are relevant and effective to the organization's overall goals. This Manager will lead staff and utilize resources to provide members of Langley with impeccable service. Duties will include training of the staff to utilize consultative selling to offer financial products and services that meet or exceed members' needs. Our Managers provide Branch Services Staff with on-going individual coaching and to support their continued development. Development of new business for Langley through community outreach and networking will be an important contribution as we develop our presence in Raleigh.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Creates strategic initiatives to grow market share of loans and deposits.
  • Represents Branch Services on complex organizational and departmental projects.
  • Oversees the entire branch operation to achieve or maintain status as a high production branch of Langley.
  • Mentors, trains, and develops others, including peers.
  • Provides guidance, direction, and assistance in the absence of the Market Director for any branch of Langley.
  • Conducts business development activities that help form and expand member relationships.
  • Represents Langley in the community at civic and professional events.
  • Drives branch results that align with the achievement of Success Sharing goals through planning and implementation of specific activities to drive growth.
  • Supports and coaches the sales and service culture by providing individual and team coaching on a weekly and monthly basis to include huddles and Team meetings.
  • Supervises operational and administrative activities including payroll, scheduling, balancing, opening, and closing activities.
  • Delivers on-going feedback on staff performance and development in monthly 1/1's.
  • Fosters teamwork by professionally interacting with peers, supervisors, and other Langley employees.
  • Actively participates in cross departmental collaboration to ensure effective and efficient communication.
  • Participates in ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures to ensure the member experience is met.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of cross departmental initiatives improving efficiencies and processes throughout the Credit Union.
  • Processes consumer loan products and services ensuring compliance with Federal Regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures to include personal, auto, home equity line of credit, and credit cards.


  • Processes all types of transactions for members including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account opening, and all other requests.
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience in a financial institution or Retail Sales industry required.
  • Four years supervisory experience required.
