eProcurement Technology & Solutions Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for contributing to the planning and execution of key eProcurement Technology initiatives that drive results with high-value strategic accounts across both the Medical and Dental divisions. Role requires collaboration and interaction with sales, operations, and IT leadership to strategize training initiatives and protocols, development opportunities, and relevant technology goals and objectives to be successful. Oversees operational processes and strategies including managing complex integrations, resolving critical escalations, and continuously improving capabilities to optimize eProcurement customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consultative Strategy & New Account Enablement:

    • Manage eProcurement initiatives for new and existing accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding, technical setup, and post-go-live optimization.

    • Support RFP responses by providing accurate, customer-specific technology details that align with Henry Schein's capabilities.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements that enhance integration quality and customer outcomes.

  • Technology Solutions Development & Issue Resolution:

    • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to implement technology solutions that address customer needs.

    • Serve as the point of contact for complex issue resolution, coordinating cross-functional resources to minimize disruptions for Strategic Accounts.

    • Apply established standards and best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy in integration efforts.

  • Customer Relationship & Account Oversight:

    • Act as a trusted technology advisor for strategic accounts, developing strong, solution-oriented relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer success.

    • Maintain a proactive approach to customer interactions, regularly reviewing technology needs, addressing evolving requirements, and optimizing the customer journey.

  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to strategic accounts, using data to refine strategies, enhance solution quality, and improve customer experiences.

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by integrating insights from customer interactions and team feedback to elevate service quality and customer value.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Preferred experience working as a consultant for large ERP or purchasing software company or large consulting company that services the ERP space

  • Consulting in a sales environment required

  • Healthcare experience is highly desirable, including working with or for eProcurement Solutions, Health Systems (IDNs) a/o GPOs

  • Distribution experience, especially medical-surgical, is beneficial

  • ecommerce Website feature/function knowledge is important

  • Must know purchasing software and their interaction with ERP systems including AP and AR.

  • Understand supply chain processes in a healthcare provider organization

  • Be able to discuss various technologies articulately and accurately including punch out, cXML, XML, EDI, e-Catalogs, hosted catalogs

  • Knowledge of inventory management is a plus

  • Knowledge of medical and dental organization structures including DSO, GPO, MSO, IPA, IDNs, hospitals, ASCs, associations

  • Knowledge of product categories including pharmaceuticals and vaccines, medical-surgical supplies, laboratory, medical equipment

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $99,622 - $155,660which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to therole to fully proficient in the role.Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
