Here's what you'd do:

  • The Material Handler plays a critical role in the efficient management of inventory at the warehouse and storage yard.
  • This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials and equipment, while also supporting quality control processes related to material handling to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Receive, count, and verify incoming stock items; record data manually or using inventory management software / SAP ERP.
  • Pack and unpack items for storage or order fulfilment; ensure proper placement on shelves or designated areas.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies with recorded data; investigate and correct errors.
  • Organize and store items in a clean, orderly, and accessible manner across various storage locations.
  • Label stock items using identification barcode labels and tags.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet safety standards.
  • Inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage, report findings to supervisors.
  • Support quality checks by verifying material condition, packaging integrity, and compliance with handling protocols during receiving, storing, and issuing processes.

Pay: $ 23.41 /Hr

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: Contract (6 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Material Handling
