Job Overview
Title: Certification Technician Reports to: Planning & Certification Supervisor Location: Kent, WA - onsite Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Schedule Type: *100% Onsite: Monday - Friday, 1st shift; Ability to work overtime as needed - including occasional weekend support. Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Position Summary Employees in this position work to create accurate Certifications from customer supplied purchase orders, specifications, drawings, work packets, and other documentation. Employee will review and act as final quality acceptance prior to development of certifications for customers. The ideal Candidate will be:

Essential Mental/Physical Demands Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods. Extensive use of hands in writing, computer and other office equipment. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, chemical fumes, or airborne particles.
