Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Marketing Manager, Events will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of the Events acquisition channel. Partnering very closely with the sales teams and clinics, this role is responsible for driving patient appointments in the clinics by creating a holistic, omnichannel events experience. The ideal candidate is a full-funnel, performance-driven event marketer with strong digital, advertising, direct mail, and event marketing experience. A curious marketer with an equal blend of creativity and analytic thinking will thrive in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop internal and external event strategy and experience to drive targeted traffic to meet marketing acquisition and brand awareness targets
  • Partner with sales teams for input and feedback on local opportunities
  • Develop playbook, customize as appropriate, and build pre, post and event marketing plans for events

Event Planning and Implementation

  • Revamp events submissions process for ease of use by field and efficiency for marketing department, develop and circulate SOP
  • Develop selection criterion and event evaluation process based on projected outcomes
  • Forecast outcomes and optimize experiences to hit targets
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure omnichannel event marketing presence that may include thought leadership, direct mail, digital advertising, email marketing
  • Propose new event experience options and research new event opportunities
  • Evaluate creative, give feedback, and own creative/content output
  • Develop testing plan to optimize results
  • Manage field requests and partner with marketing team members to ensure giveaways and assets are executed
  • Partner with Sales and HR on event training as needed
  • Hold kickoff/project meetings, create Trello cards, develop production schedules
  • Conduct post mortems to optimize future opportunities and make go forward recommendations
  • Partner with marketing counterparts on execution

Budget Ownership:

  • Manage internal and external event budget, allocate budgets by regions and across clinics
  • Develop monthly forecasts and reconciliations

Event Evaluation

  • Develop closed loop-process to ensure successful choice and implementation of internal and external events
  • Provide weekly performance updates with optimization recommendations


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of marketing experience with emphasis on event strategy, planning, and execution
  • Deep understanding of event production, logistics and creative direction
  • 5-8 years of supervisory/management experience and demonstrated ability to build and lead others
  • Experience in developing omnichannel event marketing with experience in digital and traditional marketing channels

Must have skills:

  • Experience in lead generation and program optimization for consumer brands, service organizations or client marketing organizations
  • Data-driven mindset and ability to make go forward recommendations
  • MS Office, project management software, and measurement tool expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Leadership acumen
  • Above average written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage and adapt marketing strategies across diverse brands and geographic regions
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing tactics with track record of improving campaign efficiency, lead quality and conversion rates
  • Skilled in managing marketing budgets with a focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities and consolidating resources
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational, follow-up and time-management skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI marketing tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Looker
  • A process-improvement and positive mindset

The salary range for this role is 105-115k.year.
