About the Opportunity:

As part of the Business Insights team, you will, as a Senior Business Insights Analyst, play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across our organization. This position is focused on the intersection of data, business strategy, and technology. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying root causes and insights related to major business challenges and opportunities.



What you'll do:



Internal Consulting and Analytical Insights:



  • Financial Modeling & Business Analysis: Conduct high-touch business analysis and financial modeling to support Executive Leadership Team (ELT) decision-making. Provide insights that shape financial forecasts and impact analyses.
  • Formal Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead initiatives aimed at improving processes and accelerating product development through data-driven insights.
  • Ad-hoc Investigations & Reporting: Perform ad-hoc investigations and generate reports that address executive or client inquiries regarding business outcomes and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate Analytics-Driven Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with Operations, Sales, and Client Success teams to discuss product performance,trends, and insights, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.



Technologies Utilized:



  • SQL and Python scripting
  • Databricks or other data lake platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
  • BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Superset)
  • Advanced features of MS Excel

Qualifications

Required Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent experience



Required Experience:


* 2+ years of analytics experience in financial analysis, healthcare analytics, healthcare economics or related discipline.

* 2+ years of increasingly complex experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial/performance management metrics

* Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in SQL Preferred Experience

* 3+ years of healthcare medical economics and/or strong financial analytics background

* Initiate in-depth analysis of the suspect/problem areas and suggest a corrective action plan

* Apply investigative skill and analytical methods to look behind the numbers, assess business impacts, and make recommendations through use of healthcare analytics, predictive modeling, etc.

* Experience with industry standard normalization/reimbursement methodologies (APR-DRG, MS-DRG, EAPG, APC)

Pay range: $110,000-$125,000 USD



This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
