The Medicare Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in the ongoing success of our practice, specifically, championing Medicare-eligible customer outcomes through education, enrollment, and ongoing communication to drive retention strategies. In this role you will be involved in consulting with and educating individual health insurance customers and delivering proactive support and guidance leading to their success.

Qualifications:



  • Current life & health insurance license
  • Current America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) certification
  • 1+ years of experience with Medicare plans and interacting with Medicare or Medicare-eligible populations


Skills & Abilities:



  • Expertise in Medicare and experience in selling and enrolling individuals in Medicare products
  • Ability to host educational webinars for Medicare-eligible populations
  • Knowledge of the dynamics between Medicare and Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA)
  • Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance and documentation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customers across all time zones
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Driven to help customers by consulting, informing, and educating them to get the best outcomes
  • Ability to work independently within a team-based consulting environment.

Location

This position is based out of the Milliman office in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.

Compensation

A combination of factors will be considered to determine the compensation for this role, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
