FT Flex (72 hours per pay) MRI Technologist

  • Stoney Batter
  • 3 12hr shifts per week
  • May rotate to all CCIS locations when needed.

Shift Hours:

  • Dayshift
  • Other hours as needed.

Responsible for:

  • Performing MRI examinations.
  • Performing X-ray examinations, as necessary.
  • Performing clerical duties, as necessary.
  • Superior performance in Customer Service Skills.

Job Requirements:

  • MR Technologist-experience required.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist required.
  • ARRT Advanced MRI Certification required within 2 years of hire.
  • Soarian training required.
  • Excellent customer service/telephone skills required.
  • Flexibility in hours is required.
  • Flexibility in duties is required.
  • Ability to work independently.

Education:
* Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
* Completion of ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
* State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
* Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy.
* An Associates degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Sciencedegree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlinedin the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
* Certification in CPR.
* Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.

    This position pays $37.38 to $51.40 based on relevant experience. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
