About the Role

SKF's NAM Industrial Aftermarket is seeking a dynamic Distributor Corporate Accounts Manager to lead strategic initiatives and drive growth with one of our largest distributors across both the US and Canada. This role is pivotal in aligning SKF and distributor strategies to ensure industry focus and capitalize on growth opportunities.



Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with distributor corporate account teams to develop and execute aligned strategies for market penetration and share growth.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with distributors and end users based on responsiveness, trust, and reliability.
  • Growth & Profitability: Drive business share expansion with distributors at contract end users while managing pricing and profitability objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Balance strategic vision with hands-on operational tasks to ensure consistent execution of contract account programs.
  • Market Insights: Identify emerging trends and opportunities to strengthen our competitive position.
  • Business Performance: Understand monthly Shipments, COGS, Rebates, and Share data relative to Business Plan. Recognize the drivers behind these key performance metrics. Analyze results to establish prioritized actions.
  • Indirect Leadership: Build an internal network of SKF colleagues to support your efforts and build an effective pipeline of sales activities for our field teams to execute.



Qualifications
  • Proven experience in strategic account management, preferably within distribution or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, profitability management, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
