Job Summary
The Internal Audit team provides assurance to management and the Finance and Audit Committee that the organization's internal control structure is operating effectively and efficiently to reduce financial, operational and compliance risks to an acceptable level. IA's objectives are to provide these assurance and consulting activities in a manner designed to add value and improve organizational operations and risk management. An individual in this role is expected to advance efforts supporting Internal Audit's strategic initiatives to maximize the value of data analysis and visualization and artificial intelligence in the internal audit process. The Data Analytics Auditor, Sr. will develop and maintain an understanding of the Corewell Health internal audit processes enabling them to contribute to the execution of the overall audit strategy, increase departmental utilization of data analytics and artificial intelligence, and develop continuous monitoring of key internal controls. The Data Analytics Auditor, Sr. will also perform internal audit procedures, support internal audit staff, support and seek opportunities to enhance reporting, and work on special projects as needed.
