Job Overview

The Environmental Services Intern supports environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives through technical document reviews and research projects. The role applies foundational knowledge of environmental science and sustainability to real-world projects while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment.

What You Will Do



  • Conduct technical reviews of daily supplemental environmental surveys and related reports.
  • Update the environmental database with reports and corresponding data.
  • Develop data mapping for recycling and waste diversion initiatives.
  • Assist with vendor prequalification processes.
  • Conduct research and support data collection for air and stormwater permits.
  • Provide research support for various environmental compliance and sustainability projects.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.



Skills You Will Need

Environmental Knowledge & Technical Skills - Foundational understanding of environmental science, sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to review technical documents and support environmental initiatives.

Data Management & Analysis - Ability to update databases accurately, develop data mappings, and support data collection and research for compliance and sustainability projects.

Research & Problem Solving - Strong research skills to gather, synthesize, and apply information from multiple sources to support environmental programs and initiatives.

Attention to Detail & Accuracy - Highly detail-oriented with the ability to review technical reports, identify discrepancies, and ensure quality and compliance in all deliverables.

Collaboration & Teamwork - Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to support projects and meet program objectives.

Communication Skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly document findings, present information, and interact with team members effectively.

Adaptability & Learning Mindset - Eager to learn, apply new concepts, and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environmental and sustainability setting.

Who You Are



  • Rising Seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Compliance or a related science field with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
