Job Description

TEL Technology Center of America LLC, a subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Limited, a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation and a leader in the semiconductor equipment industry, is seeking software engineering intern candidates. Tokyo Electron markets a wide range of semiconductor production equipment (SPE) products and provides outstanding service and support to semiconductor device manufacturers. TEL's world-renowned products and technologies support
diverse customer needs for the manufacturing of increasingly sophisticated semiconductors.

Position Summary:
TEL is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student intern in the field of software engineering, usability studies, to help roll out a TEL internal software system. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Familiarity with Agile methodology and low code platforms is a plus. The internship start date is targeting the first half of 2026. Time commitment is 20 to 40 hours per week and can be flexible based on student course load.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture software requirements
  • Build user stories
  • Test requirements
  • Execute test plans and perform manual testing on various applications to ensure correct implementations
  • Actively engage in meetings with users and third-party vendors to drive implementation

Qualifications:

  • The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in software engineering
  • Experience with Agile Project managements
  • Experience with user stories
  • Experience with software development
  • UI/UX Design Principles know how
  • Testing- QA experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required

Salary Ranges$29.47 - $39.42

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
