ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Analyst, Lean Practitioner, will lead mid to large-scale Lean and process optimization initiatives at SC Johnson's Waxdale facility, specializing in aerosol and liquid product filling. Reporting to the Process Engineering Associate Manager, in this role you will independently drive improvement projects, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with engineering, operations, material handling, or chemical processing teams to reduce waste and variability, improve efficiency, and support strategic goals.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong presence on the factory and warehouse floor to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Senior Analyst, Lean Practitioner must be impact-oriented, focused on delivering measurable results through the practical application of advanced Lean and process engineering tools. Success in this role requires converting strategy into actionable improvements, delivering measurable results, and ensuring sustainability of changes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Lean and process improvement projects across production, with an initial emphasis on reducing changeover time.

  • Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to identify and quantify improvement opportunities.

  • Apply advanced Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, TPM, and OEE.

  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to implement sustainable solutions.

  • Mentor and coach Lean Analysts and cross-functional teams on Lean tools and methodologies.

  • Support the development of site-level continuous improvement strategies and KPIs.

  • Track and report project outcomes, including cost savings, efficiency gains, and performance metrics.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent military experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in Lean, process improvement, or engineering roles.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

  • Demonstrated success leading Lean projects and facilitating cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Experience with process engineering tools such as SPC, root cause analysis, and process mapping.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across levels.

  • Experience in projects spanning across value streams.

  • Experience with warehouse or material handling projects is highly desirable.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and drive results independently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Use of safety equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.

  • Exposure to manufacturing environments with noise, bending, twisting, and reaching

  • Full-time position

  • Onsite role in Racine, WI

  • Percent of travel time expected <10%

  • This position is not eligible for remote work

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
