Summary Grad Nurse PCUFull-Time, .9fte. |36hrs, Third Shift BHCOR-Cor PCU Dept. I Corbin, KY PCU is a 20-bed unit capable of monitoring patients via central telemetry 24 hours a day. PCU serves as a place for the monitoring and care of patients age 16 to geriatric with moderate or potentially severe physiologic instability, requiring technical support but not necessarily artificial life support. Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Graduate Nurse strives for excellence in the performance of care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills. Centered on the patient as a whole person - body, mind, and spirit - applies principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences. Applies nursing process and acquired nursing skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary and culturally appropriate patient care in keeping with a focus on healing and wellness. Incorporates established practice guidelines and regulatory standards, concurrently evaluating opportunities to improve patient's outcomes. The Graduate Nurse may not perform independently: all functions/actions must be performed under direction of a Registered Nurse. Job Description: Grad Nurse PCU-Full-Time
