Job Overview
The Sr Manager, Business Sales is an inspiring leader that guides teams dedicated to new business acquisition. This role requires someone who is ambitious, results-driven, and ready to revolutionize the wireless industry! As a leader of leaders, you will help lead us in bringing our offerings to new markets and surpassing sales goals together.
In this role, you'll facilitate hiring, training, and development of a successful sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a defined geographic area. You will be responsible for mentoring and empowering the right people to lead teams of Account Executives. Your leadership skills will be crucial to your team's success, as both your income and theirs depend on team productivity. By creating and monitoring sales plans, you'll enable your team of managers and their Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
NOTE: Though listed as CA-REMOTE, the candidate for this position will be required to live within the Los Angeles area as you will be managing a team local to this area and it is a field sales role. Job Responsibilities:
- Staff Development: Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Sales Managers. Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field while fostering teams and development. Building a culture of confident leaders and helping eliminate internal roadblocks.
- Relationship Building: Identifying and building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Operational Initiatives: Create and implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.
- Lead Generation: Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
- Sales Approaches: Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
- Deal Negotiation: Negotiate and close deals.
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Sales or Marketing (Required)
- More than 10 years Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment (Required)
- 2-4 years People management responsibilities (Required)
- 2 years telecommunications / technical sales (Preferred)

- Coaching Exceptional coaching skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential. (Required)
- Presentations Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one-on-one, ensuring clear and engaging delivery of information. (Required)
- Business Sales A proven track record of high-yield business sales success, demonstrating the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. (Required)
- Negotiation Well-honed negotiating and closing skills, including effective communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving to achieve favorable outcomes. (Required)
- Recruiting Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent, ensuring a strong and capable team. (Required)
- Management Ability to manage large geographically located teams, providing leadership and support to ensure team cohesion and performance. (Required)
- Forecasting Ability to accurately forecast sales results, use data and insights to predict future sales performance, and inform strategic decisions. (Required)
- Leadership Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. (Required)

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $159,500 - $287,600, inclusive of target incentives
