Job Summary:
We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to join UW Veterinary Care in a newly created role within our developing Surgical Oncology service. We are seeking a self-motivated, highly skilled Veterinary Nurse Assistant who thrives working independently, communicates effectively, and manages multiple priorities with confidence. This position is ideal for someone eager to support the growth and success of a specialty service. You will collaborate closely with our Surgical Oncology nurse, as well as with the Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology teams. When the Surgical Oncology service is closed, this role will also provide support to Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology. If you are ready to help build something meaningful from the ground up, we would love to hear from you. The anticipated schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Flexibility may be required based on caseload and service availability, and we would be happy to discuss these details further during the interview process. Key Job Responsibilities:
