The Opportunity Medical Operations - Education & Communication (MOEC), a function within US Medical (USM), focuses on healthcare stakeholders having access to scientific evidence and the confidence in that evidence to make informed treatment decisions. MOEC has a pivotal role in bridging internal partner functions (including USM, Research, Product Development, Commercial, and Government Affairs) and collaborating across the dynamic health ecosystem to ultimately deliver better patient outcomes. The Sr. Independent Medical Education Manager sits at the heart of an organization dedicated to transforming clinical practice and closing healthcare gaps. The role is crucial for guiding the business in funding independent medical education (IME) that supports strategic medical and educational objectives. Key Roles and Responsibilities Provide grants for independent medical education as part of Genentech's ongoing commitment to advancing disease understanding, epidemiology, disease mechanisms, and open dialogue on clinical strategies, including therapeutic options.

Location and Travel Requirements The position is located in South San Francisco. Limited travel (1-2 times/year) to monitor IME activities. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $138,300- 256,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
