Buyer - Medical Device, (Hybrid in Middleton, WI office) Join our global Supply Chain team as a Buyer 2 - Medical Device, where you will support purchasing and material execution activities across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is well suited to a buyer who enjoys hands-on execution, collaboration, and contributing to a larger purchasing and sourcing strategy within a regulated, fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Execute MRP-driven purchasing activities to support material availability while aligning with inventory and DIOH targets. Create, maintain, and manage accurate purchase orders; follow up on deliveries and support resolution of supply constraints with suppliers. Maintain accurate purchasing data in Oracle EBS, including pricing, lead times, supplier details, and planning parameters. Support material coordination across global manufacturing sites in line with established processes and policies. Assist with Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO/MCO), supporting transitions and helping to minimise excess or obsolete inventory. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring material readiness and timely execution of purchasing actions. Work closely with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to help resolve part discrepancies, inspection delays, and documentation gaps. Contribute to cost improvement initiatives, supplier consolidation activities, and sourcing projects led by Strategic Sourcing. Monitor supply risks and escalate issues appropriately, providing clear and timely communication to relevant stakeholders. Participate as a purchasing team member in cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 2+ years' experience in purchasing or supply chain within a manufacturing, medical device, or regulated environment. Working knowledge of purchasing, MRP, and inventory control processes. Experience using ERP systems (Oracle EBS strongly preferred). Familiarity with PLM systems and change management processes (ECR/ECO/MCO); Agile experience desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Solid Excel skills (filters, lookups, basic analysis). Ability to work within defined processes, manage priorities, and adapt to changing requirements. Understanding of regulated manufacturing environments (ISO 13485, QSR, MDR desirable). Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
