IT Process Automation Analyst

The Opportunity:

When an IT organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a Process Automation Specialist to learn its business and mission end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That's why we need you, an experienced IT Process Automation Specialist who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customers' operations and support them with automation tools to streamline and improve their processes.

As an IT Process Automation Specialist on our team, you'll harness your strong analytical problem-solving abilities and proficiency with automation tools to help drive impactful, enterprise-wide changes. In this role, you'll analyze your client's current operating environment and identify areas to streamline, automate, and improve IT operations and business processes. As a member of the Process Improvement team, you'll facilitate discussions with leadership and various functional IT experts and support staff to help identify current frustrations and refine your client's definition of success. You'll collaborate as a trusted advisor as you define and translate business needs into clear specifications, future-state process designs, and functional expectations. You'll design data collection plans for quantitative and qualitative data and communicate your research and illustrative analysis.

Using lean six sigma, business process reengineering, design thinking, and other continuous process improvement frameworks, you'll conduct root cause analysis, develop fishbone diagrams, trend analysis reports, and project plans. You'll help manage projects of varying size and complexity as you design, test, and implement creative automated solutions that reduce errors and manual work. You'll help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders, create process documentation, and educate staff on how to use new automated solutions and features.

This is your chance to apply your technical expertise and gain experience in IT operations while deepening your process improvement and project management skills.
