Your Role:


As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to a select caseload of patients and families. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth social work assessments, identifying problems, setting meaningful goals, and implementing tailored care plans. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating continuity of care and making impactful referrals to outside agencies.


Your collaborative approach will optimize patient outcomes and directly contribute to our organizational goals. Additionally, you'll be prepared to provide coverage during absences, vacancies, and on-call situations, ensuring uninterrupted support for those who need it most.


What You Bring:




  • Education: MSW degree from an accredited school of social work.



  • Knowledge & Skills:



    • In-depth understanding of biopsychosocial and cultural aspects of clinical social work practice.
    • Familiarity with the procedures, systems, and organizational objectives in social work.
    • Strong knowledge of community resources and the current healthcare landscape.
    • Ability to effectively gather and synthesize relevant data to make informed judgments about patient care.
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills to engage with hospital staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and families with professionalism and empathy.
    • Proven proficiency in providing social work services in a mental health or healthcare setting.
    • Analytical prowess to assess patient needs and craft effective treatment plans.
    • A proactive mindset to identify organizational obstacles and recommend enhancements to patient care.




Licensure Requirements:



  • Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners at the LMSW or LCSW-C level.
  • If licensed in another state or jurisdiction, ensure compliance with the Board's regulations.


Experience:



  • A minimum of 1 year of experience providing clinical social work services, particularly in a mental health or healthcare setting (internship experience may also be considered).

Salary Range: Minimum 34.11/hour - Maximum 56.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
