Mechanical Designer

*Ensure that all customer's requested options are developed meeting industry expectations.

*Able to take projects from inception to completion utilizing sound reasoning and SolidWorks engineering software.

*Create Bill of Materials (BOM)

*Participate in design reviews as required.

*Review the processing of order bids, Orders, Engineering Change Notices and Change orders as needed as required.

*Interact with ARBOC Specialty Vehicles employees on a regular basis

* Interact with outside suppliers to obtain part &equipment related data.

*Complete product floorplan development using Solid Works and Conduct weight analysis as needed.

*Be tenacious in pursuit of excellence in our products.

• High school diploma or GED

• Engineering Technology (A.A.S. Degree)
• 2 years of automotive/bus industry or college equivalency
• Experience in working with multiple discipline projects andclients simultaneously
• Capable and experienced in managing and performing projectsin a fast-paced environment
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.
