| This Manager Non-Invasive Imaging is responsible for the daily operations of the department for the provision of imaging services at their respective campus. The position is accountable for staff supervision while ensuring cost effective, high quality non-invasive imaging services across the department. Identifying and accomplishing program goals, action items and outcomes are also a part of this position. This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards/requirements, and support and maintain a cost effective, driven and customer-focused service. |

Performs cardiovascular testing with good diagnostic quality in a timely manner, as credentialed. Provides direction for imaging modalities to include cardiac and vascular Ultrasound, Molecular Imaging, CT, and other modalities that may be instituted by demonstrating leadership competencies. Collaborates with physicians and other members of the medical staff to ensure quality comprehensive imaging services are delivered. Develops goals and objectives to maximize utilization/productivity of staff to facilitate operational efficiency of Productivity Targets and Cost per Unit. Supports program growth and performance optimization. Monitor and optimizes employee and patient satisfaction results. Recommends and implements action plans for improvement using Employee Engagement and Patient Satisfaction surveys to identify performance improvement opportunities. Validates departmental orientation, skills fairs, technical and support competencies and staff development are completed annually and documented in employees? transcript. Defines and monitors measurable outcomes that are evidence based such as Safety Promise, Safety Zone Portal, TeleTracking, Turnaround Times, IAC and ACR Accreditation, and Joint Commission. Assists/participates in the selection and supervision of personnel. Include timely completion of all functions in Lawson HR and Performance Management applications. Assists with budget development, management, and responses to variances. Performs other duties as assigned. |
| EDUCATION: |
| Required: Master's degree, Graduate of an associate degree program/Diploma/Certificate program in cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound, Radiology, Imaging or related Allied Health educational program. |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| Required: A minimum of 3 years? clinical experience in cardiac and vascular imaging, and 3 years Healthcare leadership experience |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| Required: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) from CCI or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RT-VS) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); ARRT: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT); NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT); Combination: ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT) OR CNMT and ARRT(CT) OR ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) OR ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT); and BLS (CPR)- American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare provide |
