Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate and execute monthly close procedures
  • Analyze monthly financial statements and prepare variance explanations
  • Support documentation, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls
  • Prepare account reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare audited financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental schedules
  • Oversee Fixed Assets process (additions, disposals, depreciation)
  • Maintain and ensure timely payment and filing of property taxes
  • Prepare Form 990 and supporting documentation
  • Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze complex data across departments to support decision-making


What we are looking for:



  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ability to research and resolve accounting issues
  • Experience in gas, electric, or power systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Oracle Financials
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $113,000-138,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
