Job Title: Staff Auditor Location with zip code: Washington, DC 20002 (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ months, Contract Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Pay Rate: $30-35/hr Job Summary: The purpose of the Staff Auditor position is to perform performance audits of the beneficiaries in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. Role & Responsibilities: Planning and performing compliance audits in accordance with applicable audit standards; Preparing clear and concise audit work papers, reports, and other communications to document the audit procedures performed and exceptions identified; Communicating audit status and results via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to the auditee and management; Performing project management duties over individual workload; Required Experience: Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree. Training or Formal Education Fields: Audit, Accounting, Finance and/or Business. Years of Experience: Accounting & Auditing: 1 - 2 years.
