The VP, Branch Support is responsible for the overall administration and efficient daily operation of the retail branch network of the Virginia Division. This includes customer service, consultative sales, operations, team development, risk management, security, and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required. Will consider commensurate experience. * Minimum of 11 years of managerial or leadership experience required. * Minimum of 3 years of experience managing multiple retail branch banking locations. * Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service. * Proficient computer skills, math aptitude and attention to detail is a must. * Demonstrated strong leadership skills and dependability. * Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays required. * A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required. * Effectively communicate and demonstrate strong time management skills as required. * Able to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines. * Able to develop a strong community presence and to enhance new and existing business opportunities. Principle Activities and Duties: * Consistently set the example of providing quality service as outlined in the Bank's Quality Service Statement. * Directly impact the growth and retention of customers through proactive efforts. * Focus on building a customer service driven team where everyone contributes to the success of the Relationship Building and Operational efforts. * Assist the management teams in developing and motivating the team members of their branches by offering constructive feedback and positive reinforcement. This can be accomplished at regular team meetings and through individual documented coaching sessions. * Represent Dollar Bank in the community in a professional and competent manner at all times. Is expected to manage the solvency of business deposit and loan relationships within the surrounding communities through active participation in various organizations and charitable functions. * Takes the appropriate steps for the Cleveland Branch Network to meet the established Group Banking Onsite Visit and Checking Accounts Opened goals each month. This will be accomplished by being proactive in outside calling efforts and by taking advantage all Group Banking opportunities within his market. * Exhibit operational knowledge while upholding the operational integrity of the assigned branches by assisting the team in all areas of branch operations including Compliance. * Lead the achievement of all Relationship Building, Operational Integrity, and Customer Service goals for assigned branches. * Exercise sound decision-making skills as it relates to balancing risk, profitability, and customer service with every decision. Consistently lead by example, maintain professionalism and a positive attitude at all times and exercise superior leadership skills. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Perform sedentary to light work (able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, or otherwise move objects). See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; sit, stand, walk, crouch, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
