This position serves as the first point of contact for all HRMS related payroll work and records management, and manages additional HR generalist work related to recruitment/hiring, employee engagement, employment life-cycle and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to help the College of Biological Sciences transition into a shared services model of HR support (PEAK phase 4). This will provide the right candidate with valuable experience with change management and a chance to help direct how HR data processes will be coordinated in the college going forward.

About the Department
The College of Biological Sciences is one of the only colleges dedicated to the biological sciences in the country. Research in the college spans the breadth of the discipline from ecology to biophysics to microbiology. The mission of the College of Biological Sciences is to deliver cutting-edge, internationally recognized research and teaching at all levels of biological organization from molecules to ecosystems. While preparing today's students to create the biology of tomorrow, CBS promotes collaborative research within and beyond the University to advance knowledge and find solutions that improve human health and the environment locally, nationally, and globally. The CBS HR team supports almost 900 employees, including undergrad workers, graduate assistants, temporary employees, staff and faculty. This team also partners closely with the Medical School HR team in supporting 2 shared departments. Pay and Benefits
