Job Summary

The Prisma Health Center for Neurodevelopmental Health, Director is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Center for Neurodevelopmental Health (CNH). This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer Academics and indirectly for day-to-day function to the Associate Chief Academic Officer and Medical Director of the Center for Neurodevelopmental Health. This individual serves as the central coordinator for clinical, research, education, community health, advocacy, and policy initiatives under the center's umbrella. The Director also acts as the primary external representative of the CNH, maintaining relationships with academic partners, community collaborators, and other stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the operational and strategic management of initiatives within the Center for Neurodevelopmental Health(CNH).
  • Collaborate with project managers and program leads to ensure effective execution and integration of clinical, research, and educational programs, ensuring alignment with CNH goals.
  • Assist in budget planning and financial oversight for CNH programs.
  • Support grant development, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Serve as the center's spokesperson and external contact, representing the CNH in academic, community, and policy settings and maintaining relationships with academic institutions, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
  • Support Prisma Health's community health, advocacy, and policy activities related to neurodevelopmental health.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, nursing, psychology, social work, education or a related field.
  • Experience - 3 years of program administration, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.

In Lieu Of

  • In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, the following combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered an equivalent substitution: Bachelor's Degree and over 5 years of experience in leadership and administration of a program, or programs, serving individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • NA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
  • Data entry skills
  • Experience in and/or appreciation of, healthcare delivery systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement action plans within complex systems
  • Experience and/or knowledge of functional challenges faced by individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities - preferred
