Short Description

This prestigious technical leadership position may have multiple roles within technical operations and pre-sales that supports Worldwide Sales and Channels Partners and related programs. The role will be recognized as a "deep dive" hands-on technical expert across multiple products & technologies. As a senior-level technical role, the SSE IV may be responsible for leading competency, demo and Proof-of-Concept labs, or similar programs, as a senior, onsite engineer and architect.A Will often meet directly with customers, partners and associates, supporting large-scale sales opportunities and knowledge-transfer events as a senior-level subject matter expert. Will be proficient in designing large-scale, production or test systems, and building out and presenting complex multi-vendor cross-portfolio solutions or configurations. Often mentors to less experienced sales engineers who seek mentorship opportunities. May act as a company spokesperson within the industry through their external participation at trade shows, consortiums and through other speaking/writing engagements. Leads internal projects for his/her team and for extended/virtual teams across the enterprise. Contributes to Virtual teams. Highly recognized for contributions to worldwide sales counterparts and the product house by participating in forums and special projects. Typically certified in their specific subject matter areas. Seven years of experience with company products is preferred.
