Tank Tigers is hiring Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians Class C in Miami, Florida. This entry level role is built for mechanically minded individuals who want to start or grow a career in aviation maintenance by supporting critical fuel tank work on commercial and military aircraft. You will work inside confined spaces, assist experienced technicians, and perform hands on maintenance tasks that directly impact aircraft safety and reliability.

This is an entry level technical position requiring less than 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience. Class C Technicians report to the Facility Supervisor and Facility Manager within the company Repair Station. A Class C Technician is responsible for performing fuel tank maintenance including preventive maintenance and alteration tasks as directed and assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data. This position will not be assigned management, supervisory, or inspection duties and does not have authorization to sign a maintenance release. Certification under 14 CFR part 65 is not required.


Duties

  • Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual
  • Sign off maintenance items that are completed or partially completed
  • Ensure maintenance operations follow the appropriate sequence and that inspections are requested in a timely manner
  • Perform all maintenance activities according to applicable maintenance data and customer requirements
  • Verify that required test equipment and tools are labeled and current
  • Request stock as needed for assigned work
  • Record all work performed in the appropriate maintenance records and complete required paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Remain cognizant of applicable FAR part 145 and 43
  • Remain familiar with the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and revisions
  • Record OJT for assigned tasks
  • Immediately report any unsafe procedures, practices, or conditions
  • Work flexible schedules and perform tasks requiring access to confined spaces

Required Skills


  • Ability to comprehend and perform aircraft fuel system maintenance with training



Required Experience

  • Entry level role requiring 0 to 2 years of aviation fuel maintenance experience
  • Mechanical experience preferred
