Departmental Overview

We would love to find an individual with experience in pediatrics and/or lymphedema in order to best support our team! Our outpatient clinics provide therapeutic treatment to patients across the lifespan. From pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between, you name it and we treat it! Our team is comprised of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, all collaborating in order to help patients achieve their goals! We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are proactive, creative, and ready to join a tight knit team of individuals providing positive patient experiences to those in and around our community.


Job Summary

  • Performs responsibilities as an integral team member of an OT/OTA collaboration focused on patient centered decision making.
  • Documents delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
  • Educates patients, family, caregivers, significant others, and staff members.
  • Directs and supervises activities of support personnel.
  • Performs occupational therapy programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, utilizing standard occupational therapy techniques as appropriate for the patient's age, functional impairments, abilities, needs, and desires.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program; successful completion of the certification process for Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Experience

  • Experience with pediatrics or lymphedema preferred.

Licensure/Certification

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure, or temporary licensure, as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

Compensation/ Benefits

  • $22.00-$35.93/hr depending on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $2.00/hr.
  • Night differential $2.50/hr.
  • Weekend differential $2.50/hr.
