The Project Accountant will be responsible for analyzing expenses, preparing billing reports, and ensuring accurate financial data for project managers. They will also monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial analysis to support project decisions.

Reports to: Senior Project Accountant

  • Required Education

    • Bachelor's Degree: Accounting/ or Business Administration with Accounting courses or Business Finance
    • Other: or 5+ years of experience

  • Required Experience

    • A minimum of two (2) years of accounting department experience or a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Required Qualifications

    • Must be a US Citizen

  • Preferred Experience

    • Experience working in the construction industry in accounting, including knowledge of construction accounting principles.

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Sage 300 (Timberline), Procore

  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and the accounting principles of accounts payable
    • Good understanding of accounting systems
    • Multi-tasking and good communication skills both verbal and written
