Barnes Aerospace is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales & Business Development, CRO/MRO to join its team. The right candidate will have a proven track record of generating sales and capturing new business and will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will be the key link between our customers and aerospace service locations, utilizing product knowledge and sales experience to achieve profitable growth across Barnes Aerospace CRO/MRO U.S. sites. The right candidate should have a proactive leadership style and approach, the ability to lead by example and work collaboratively, in alignment with our corporate values. Core Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the company's engine component repair (CRO) and maintenance repair & overhaul (MRO) services in the United States.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including airlines, leasing companies, OEMs, and defense organizations.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Drive revenue growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing strategies and service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with company objectives and financial goals. Work with legal and finance teams to structure profitable agreements.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations.
  • Provide input into operational capacity planning based on market demand.
  • Partner with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, and market penetration.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on business development activities and outcomes.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: 10+ years in aerospace CRO/MRO business development, with a focus on engine services.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
  • Established network of contacts within the aviation industry.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Experience working with major OEMs, airlines, and leasing companies.
  • Knowledge of FAA, EASA, and other regulatory requirements related to engine CRO/MRO.
  • Familiarity with digital and predictive maintenance technologies in the aerospace sector.
  • 60% to 70% travel required.



Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
